Website Design is certainly NOT “One size fits all”

When it comes to Website Design, sadly “one size doesn’t fit all”.  Once a company has the correct data cabling installed, it’s full speed ahead to sort the basics – phones, computers and printers etc.  The Design of a Company or individual Website is another matter.

Naturally you want a website you will be delighted with.  Your Logo and brand colours have to be selected.  You’ll need to decide on up to maybe eight Menu pages and choose the multiple images you might require on each page.  Choice of graphics is all-important and the correct custom font.  You have to appear current and stylish.  Linked pages may help to sell or display your product and you may want videos or sound bites to play.

You may want to consider having the flexibility to constantly update the content on your website.  To keep a firm hand on your finances and your reputation, you should be able to do so easily and fast, to keep the clients coming back.  You’ll be able to add different pictures, change prices, promote special offers or report any breaking news.  Not having to pay for a Web Designer to do all these things constantly is a must!

So, once your data cabling’s in place you should consider the following when it comes to developing your website:
1. Choose your layout
2. Design your Header
3. Choose Menus Create linked pages
4. Select photos/pictures
5. Decide if you need an image gallery
6. Write the text
7. Decide if you want customers to pay you for purchases
8. Decide if you should be .co.uk  or .com
